Don't let the dealership replace your broken shift interlock with another "pink thingy". Get this part and follow the included instructions. Rest assured knowing that the BT shift interlock will last the life of the vehicle! Couldn't be happier, and I'm not even a mechanic! I did this myself, with some assistance of my wife and 17 year old son...props to them and BT!

I just finished installing your Park Lock Out Mechanism in my wife’s 06 Magnum SRT8. I am not one to write reviews but in this case I have to let you know how much I appreciate the time you put into your installation instructions and the quality of the part itself. You have made the best of an otherwise frustrating and unnecessary breakdown, from the beginning when the dodge Lockout failed in the hotel parking lot (where I Googled it and found your part upgrade and how to get it out of park), a well machined replacement mechanism, to the installation using clear, concise, step by step, illustrated directions, that are complete from start to finish.

Okay, this is not working "easily" for me	April 9, 2012

I tried to install my piece today, which looks very simple in the video, and I am sure it is... the tricky part is how do I get the entire peice detached from my Charger? The nuts and bolts seem hard to reach and as I tried various tools to try to unfasten them but I ended up giving up. Unfortunately for me, I seem to have messed up the mechanism that puts my car into drive and now I can not even drive it... if I do not figure out how to fix this... I am condemned to the dealership to pay lots of money!

Park Lockout Mechanism	October 5, 2011

I was out in L.A., far from home. The valet was responsible for snapping the hook for the spring, he slammed the shifter to PARK, because during the install could not locate the original spring. Anyways, doing the usual thing, dealership wanted $430 for the entire shifter assembly, I said, "New shifter with the same plastic pink lockout that will break again, $430." No Way!! I got no where with the dealership and found BT, ordered part and did the install with my 3 year old and back up and running. Saving $380 with peace of mind feels great!! Thanks for everything guys!!

This product was easy to install. After looking at the instructions I was nervous, but it wasn't hard at all. It took me 45 minutes at the most, plus got to clean the area up real good. The shipping and delivery was quick. I received my order on less than a week.

I became stranded late one night when this failed on my Charger. If I would have known this plastic piece could cause such a headache, I would have promptly replaced it beforehand. The instructions were easy to follow and the piece arrived quickly. Thank you!

I researched the car ahead of buying it and knew that this part would eventually break on me, so I played it smart and bought the part before the stock pink plastic one broke. Install was a breeze, the hardest part was getting the face plate off the radio and climate control (was being careful not to break it as it is thin and flimsy). Install was easy with the picture intensive on-line instructions and had no installation issues!
