This piece will replace the plastic "pink" flimsy part in your factory Dodge shifter. I just replaced this on my Chrysler Pacifica and it works as advertised. Thanks to all who posted here with the instructions. It was very easy to install. Also thanks to Team BT for making this part. I was happy not to have a dealer replace it with another plastic piece of crap. The one part that is used most often is made of plastic;please.

still cant believe dodge put such a cheap POS part in vehicle the replacement I bought here works great, Looked at several videos online on how to replace it , the one one this site was the most straight forward and thorough .  Thank you and will keep company ion mind for future needs

Sure enough, I followed the very clear and thorough instructions, and my lockout spring was laying on the transmission tunnel, and the hook was missing from the pink stock lockout. Installing the new one was a breeze! Should last forever. Also gave me a good excuse to clean my console pieces. Great job, guys!

It's a shame this part has to be hidden. It looks great and is very well made. I just finished installing this on my 2007 Charger R/T and it works great. I would recommend this part to any Charger owner.
